Dr. Kaci Deauquier Sheridan

Dr. Kaci Deauquier Sheridan is a passionate educator, researcher, and advocate for mental and behavioral health.  She has served students and educators for over 15 years at the elementary and secondary levels.  She has worked as a classroom teacher, behavioral therapist, clinical supervisor, national trainer, and district level administrator.  She has a proven track record for inspiring educators, helping to transform campus cultures, and improving student success.

Kaci's journey helped her to realize that the best way to advocate for mental and behavioral health was to focus on empowering individuals to believe in themselves and their own abilities. By imagining a world where we think beyond the boundaries and push the limits of what is possible she is able to creatively problem solve to ensure that individuals are provided an equitable opportunity to be successful.  Kaci is relentless in her passion for ensuring that individuals receive the services and resources needed to be successful.  Her enthusiasm for training and working in mental and behavioral health has led her to present, train, and consult with school districts, individuals, and organizations across the country.  

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology and anthropology from Texas State University, a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Texas A&M University,  and a Doctorate from Lamar University in Educational Leadership. She currently lives in Houston, TX with her incredible husband, 2 wonderful children, and an adorable dog.
